Job Description: Staff Product Owner (Oracle Retail) - Merchandise Operations Management (MOM) Team Our team consists of over 70 Associates located across the globe, with balanced representation in India, Europe and North America. Working within a scrum team leadership, the successful candidate will require an ability to work with minimal guidance and input, to help drive forward our largest and most complex business and IT modernization epics. They will engage with senior partners in IT and the business, with the focus on enabling business growth, delivering with efficiency and quality, and with a focus on defining robust and stable solutions. They will form a dynamic and fluid leadership partnership alongside the Scrum Master and Dev Lead. What you'll do: Responsible for partnering with the Product Management team to understand customer needs, pain points, workflows, and priorities Ownership of feature refinement, and the ownership of the lifecycle of a feature through to deployed and delivered Responsible for performing work breakdown of features into stories Responsible for identifying test approaches for features, and being aware of automation opportunities to drive efficiency Responsible for alignment with other product owners/scrum teams on work efficiency and coherence Responsible for oversight and validation of high quality non-functional requirements for features, aligned to the enterprise NFR framework Responsible for quality, value and stability of features released to production, and that they meet business value expectations Responsible for ensuring risk and dependencies are identified and managed, particularly with regard to potential derailers of success for features Responsible for partnering with our support teams to ensure effective service transition Driving strong and lasting partnerships with leaders in other product teams Minimum qualifications: Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in product management. Must have the ability to work with JIRA & Confluence Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills Ability to document process flows, and simplify complex topics for business audiences Demonstrated strengths in negotiating and influencing skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good understanding of data, the ability to determine patterns and anomalies Adapt to a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and making informed decisions quickly Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Ability to collaborate well with a wide variety of people Preferred Qualifications: Functional knowledge of Oracle Retail applications including RMS Foundation and Stock Ledger, ReSA, ReIM, and RPM.
